The international Muay Thai competition that has captured the world’s attention, “THE MATCH OF LEGEND,” featuring two legendary world-class fighters, “Manny Pacquiao” and “Bua Kaw Banchamek,” continues to be closely watched and eagerly anticipated. The question of where this historic match will take place on the global stage remains unanswered, but one thing is for sure, this match of world significance will happen in the year 2024.
However, while both legendary fighters are rigorously training and constantly making strides in their respective careers, there have been recent developments in the world of sports. The Philippines has submitted a letter to the International Olympic Committee, granting “Manny Pacquiao” the opportunity to compete in the global Olympic event, “Paris Games,” in 2024.
On the other hand, “Bua Kaw,” the Thai Muay Thai legend and two-time K-1 champion, who has played a pivotal role in coaching the Thai national team, is preparing to lead athletes in the field of kickboxing to compete in two world championship events: the World Combat Games Riyadh 2023 in Saudi Arabia from October 23 to 28, and the World Kickboxing Championship 2023 in Portugal in November.
Prior to this, “Bua Kaw” had successfully coached the Thai national team, helping them secure gold medals at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam and the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.
As for the athletes who have earned the privilege to compete at the global level in kickboxing, there are two individuals: “Nong Pai” Nittinat Phlap Phloeng, competing in the under 48 kg weight category, and “Nong Joi” Waraporn Jaitieung, competing in the Low-Kick division with a weight category of not exceeding 65 kg.
This is yet another testament to the dedication and determination of the Thai Muay Thai legend, “Bua Kaw Banchamek,” who is committed to achieving success for Thailand.
